A Nelson Muntz Moment
Focus on the Family, that merry band of dillweeds that believes mostly in nosing around in other people's business, spent over $500K to get Proposition 8 (the anti-gay marriage bill in California) passed. And now they're laying off people. Maybe that $500K (around 19 times the average salary in Colorado, where FotF is based) should have gone towards other things? Y'know, it might have covered a few salaries and benefits, although maybe FotF thinks that benefits are un-Godly or something like that.
In the meantime, FotF is helping God-fearin' American's send letters to Stoopid George, telling him that he did a heckuva job as the Big Crapola, I mean, Kahuna, of the U.S. of A. As Someone Who Shall Not Be Named, But Whose Name Rhymes With Nailin' once said "Thanks, but no thanks."
