QotD: Over-Easy Like Sunday Morning

What's your favorite thing to eat for Sunday breakfast/brunch?

Interesting that a question about breakfast should come up.

Yesterday was Election Day here. I voted after I had coffee, and then headed out for brunch. I had this incredible craving for eggs. Which is actually kind of weird. Two years ago, I went to Paris.  The only food item that the cafe nearest my hotel served was omelettes, so that's pretty much what I had for breakfast every morning. By the time I left the City of Lights, I didn't want to see another egg again.

Anyways, I headed over to the Sunshine Diner, which is a kitchy diner-esque restaurant with many pictures of Elvis Presley. (Next time I go, I will have to take pictures and share them with Lord Thingy, so that he can enjoy them too!) And I ordered two eggs with toast and potato slices. Awesome.

I'm hungry again.
