Slushy Saturday
We had really craptacular weather today. It has been snowing all day, the type of snow that comes down in wet mushy flakes that stick to your coat/ eyelashes/ hair and then promptly melt. Naturally, the streets are a river of slush.
I picked up my 2009 calendar today (50% off; yeah, I know I should have waited). It's an ELVIS calendar. Every day has a fun Elvisfact. Naturally, I will have to show it to Lord Thingy so that he can enjoy it too!
On this day in 1962, Elvis received a lump sum payment of $259,995 for a new contract that allowed RCA to re-issue previously released material.
